An interesting study out of the University of Queensland has determined that for every hour spent watching television lifespan is decreased by 22 minutes and goes on to compare the dangers to that of smoking two cigarettes in an hour (relating to heart disease and stroke). The total impact of either activity could lower an average life expectancy by five years according to the researchers.
