Steve Harvey Show Features the TrekDesk Treadmill Desk

Daytime television’s most popular new talk show, the Steve Harvey Show, aired a segment on Monday, January 14th featuring the TrekDesk Treadmill Desk.

“Steve Harvey has become the most relevant personality on daytime talk television featuring a humorous take on matters that effect the daily lives of Americans. We are thrilled that he recognizes the health dangers of sedentary lifestyles in America and is willing to bring TrekDesk to his audience’s attention,” stated TrekDesk CEO, Steve Bordley.

Less than a month into its programming beginning in October 2012 the Steve Harvey Show was averaging 1.6 million viewers per day despite its slot in one of television’s most competitive time slot. As Steve Harvey approaches the end of its first month, we are very pleased on how the show is performing and gaining momentum—[it] is the only new daytime show to grow over key benchmarks such as lead-in and time period,” says Barry Wallach, president of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. “We feel viewers are tuning in to watch Steve be his witty and true self while talking about topics that viewers can get helpful takeaways from in a very engaging and funny format.”

The show is currently sold in 98% of the country, and is getting upgrades in Detroit, Phoenix, Portland, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, Austin, Buffalo, Fresno, Ft. Meyers, Tucson, Honolulu, Des Moines, Madison, Tri Cities and Burlington, among many others. Steve Harvey already was cleared in most of the country in two-year deals, but this confirms the show will return next year. NBCUniversal also is actively extending the show with stations across the U.S. for three years through 2016.
